Alumni Recognition
In an effort to recognize the achievements of our Alumni we would like actives, alumni, and friends to nominate individuals whom they feel have distinguished themselves within their profession, community, and/or the Greek movement. We will award up to five individuals at Alumni Weekend on a five year anniversary basis starting with the 40th Anniversary. On April 18, 2009, we recognized the first recipient, Jeff Posendek

Jeff earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education in 1977. He went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration at Cleveland State University in 1985. He served on the TSU Alumni Board of Governors and Board of Trustees for a combined 25 years, with two terms as president of the Alumni Board of Governors. His dedication earned him the University’s Distinguished Alumni Service Award in 2006. He has spent the past 30 years as a teacher and administrator in secondary education, 23 years of that was serving as Unit Principal at Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Ohio. He was named State of Ohio Assistant Principal of the Year by the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators and the National Association of Secondary School Principals in 2004. In August 2008, he accepted the position of Athletic Director for Trine University. |
